Edward H. King, 71, of Manchester, NH, died Friday April 20, 2012 in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. He was born in Norwood, MA on October 22, 1940, a son of the late Edward and Grace (Wiggin) King. He had been a resident of Manchester for over 20 years, formerly living in Litchfield, NH. Mr. King was employed over the years for Teledyne, Halco, and he retired from Electropac. He enjoyed working with his hands, and working on cars. He enjoyed watching Nascar racing, football and baseball.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle King of Fremont, NH; his granddaughter, Kenna-Lee Fudge of Hudson, NH; two sisters, Barbara Hutchings of Hubbardston, MA and her family, and Susan King of Holden, MA. He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis E. (Lowell) King in 1993, and his son Ed King, Jr.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, April 24th from 5 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Private burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Litchfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710.
