Doff Daniel James, 65, Adams, TN died Saturday April 21, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 10, 1946 in Prosperity, West Virginia son of the late Ernest and Julia Ann Jarrett James. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Washington Lee James.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 5 P.M. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Gisela Seger James; two sons, Ihle James and David James; a daughter, Julia Raybuck, all of Clarksville; a brother, Owen James, Virginia; a sister, Suzy Worley, Ohio; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. James was retired from the US Army after serving for 21 years. He served during the Vietnam Era and retired from Quebecor after 20 years.
