Mrs. Ruth A. (Livermore) Gillis, age 83, Of Woburn, died April 18, 2012 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home. Born in Arlington, Ruth was the daughter of the late Lucy & Terence Livermore.
Ruth was a devoted homemaker caring for her family and raising her five children. She was a resident of Woburn since 1953, formerly of Arlington.
She was the devoted mother of Catherine A. Swenson of Bradford, Stephen F. Gillis of Woburn, Daniel P. Gillis of Raynham, Michael J. Gillis of Woburn and the late Richard A. Gillis. Loving grandmother of Keriann, Joseph and Michael Swenson, Matthew and Andrew Gillis. Sister of Mary Pedrotti of Lexington and the late Robert Livermore.
A funeral service will be held at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Friday April 20th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.
Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
