Armond T. Auchtung, 41, of Enigma, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 21 at the home of his mother, 335 Garden City Rd., Enigma, GA.
Mr. Auchtung was born January 25, 1971 in Columbus, Wisconsin to Patricia Ann Golden Kemp and the late Willie Michael Kemp. He lived in Berrien County for the past fifteen years and was a former resident of Tifton. Mr. Auchtung was a self-employed carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and never met a stranger. Mr. Auchtung was a giving man and a loving father and son.
He is survived by his wife, Shellie S. Auchtung of TyTy; mother, Patricia A. Kemp f Enigma; stepdaughter, Tia LeeAnn Cole of TyTy; brothers, Rory “Butch” Auchtung of Enigma and Michael (Julie) Auchtung of Bushnell, FL; grandchildren, Carman Hernandez, Caleb Cole, Isaac Cole and Jason Cole as well as several nieces and nephews.
