WORCESTER-Ruth D. (Carrigan) Anderson, 75, of 240 Belmont Street died Saturday, April 17th in her home. Her husband Clarence C. Anderson, Sr. died in 1993. She leaves 3 sons, Clarence C. “Bud” Anderson, Jr., of Shrewsbury, John W. Anderson of Sacramento, CA and Michael J. Anderson of Salisbury, MD, 3 daughters, Linda Fortin of Worcester, Ida Mae Anderson of San Geronimo, CA and Susan Sulminski of Cherry Valley, 2 brothers Robert and Kenneth Carrigan both of Worcester, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandaughters Amber and Alexia. A son Robert Anderson, 2 brothers Joseph and Donald Carrigan and a sister Barbara Ewig predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Christopher and Ida (Johnson) Carrigan.
The funeral is Thursday, April 22nd with a service at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 21st from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
