Anna M. (Agresti) Murray, a long-time ceramics instructor, died Friday at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was 61.
Anna was born and raised in Somerville, the daughter of Salvatore and Mary (Dellano) Agresti. After her marriage to Ronald Murray they settled in Medford. The couple recently moved to Stoneham.Anna was a well-known ceramics teacher. For many years she gave classes from her home and from her shops, A & R Ceramics and Decor Ceramics. For the past ten years she worked with the City of Medford and offered classes in ceramics in the local senior citizens housing.
Anna is survived by her husband, Ronald Murray. She also leaves her daughter Kimberley Frattaroli and her husband Lou, and a son Mark Murray and his wife Sheri. Anna was a proud “grammy” to Kaitlyn, Mark, Miranda and Joey. She also leaves her dear brother Anthony Agresti.
Friends and relatives may visit with the family Tuesday from 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.Wednesday at 10 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. James Church, Medford. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
