Susanna (Medeiros) Lopes, age 70 passed away at home April 14, 2012. Born in Furnas, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the widow of Carlos Manuel Lopes and daughter of the late Angelo and Maria do Carmo (Elizardo) Medeiros. She had worked as an assembler at Lightolier Co. and was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church.
She was the mother of Edward Lopes (wife Erin) of Taunton and the late Michael Lopes; sister of Mariana Elizardo of N. Dighton, Margaret Rego of Fall River and Angelo P. Medeiros of Taunton and an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River THURSDAY at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 5-8 P.M.
