Lloyd T. Francis, 66, of Dartmouth died Sunday April 15, 2012 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the husband of Claudette (Ouimet) Francis.
A lifelong resident of Dartmouth, he was the son of Leonora (Almeida) Francis and the late Edward J. Francis, Jr.
Lloyd proudly served his country and community as a Marine and Dartmouth police officer.
Survivors include his wife and mother; two sons, Matthew Francis of Altamont, NY and Ian Francis of New Bedford; a brother, David Francis of Eagle River, AK; a sister, Cynthia Francis of Dartmouth; and an uncle, Robert Francis of Rochester.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Julie Billiart Church on Monday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
