Shirley Eileen (Brown) Glenn, 78, passed away on April 13, 2012. She was the wife of the late Joseph Glenn.
Born in Lynn on April 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marion (Whitten) Brown. She was raised in Middleton, educated in Danvers and attended North Shore Community College. She was employed as a technician at Optical Micro Systems in Danvers for over 20 years before her retirement. Shirley enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Bagley of Salem, Barbara Castaldo of NH and Marianne Cole of Peabody, a son Arthur Stone of NH, a sister Diane White of NH, 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Deborah (Stone) Fitzgerald and a son Kevin Stone.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Vst. hrs are Wed. from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. www.LyonsFuneral.com
