Brian David Kearns, age 48, a longtime Natick resident and arborist, died suddenly on Friday morning, April 13, 2012, after a brief illness. He was the loving father of Thomas Fisher of Holliston.
Born in Boston on August 19, 1963, he was a son of Francis P. Kearns of Natick and the late Patricia A. (Elliott) Kearns. Brian spent his early years in the Mission Hill section of Boston prior to settling in Natick. He attended the Natick Schools throughout his education and graduated from Natick High with the Class of 1981.
Brian had worked with his Dad at Kearns & Sons Tree Service of Natick throughout his career. He enjoyed boating often on Lake Cochituate and was an enthusiastic fan of the Boston sports teams. Always fostering some form of plant life, he spent much of his free time helping family and friends with their yards. He had most recently enjoyed a large family gathering at Easter.
He is also survived by a special niece, Chelsey Kearns of Natick; two brothers, Kevin Kearns (Robin Connolly) and James Kearns (Toni) of Natick; a sister, Susan Kearns of Natick; his niece Krystal Kearns and nephew Shawn Kearns of Natick; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was also the uncle of the late Adam Connolly.
His funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick, on Thursday, April 19th at 9:00a.m. with a Mass of the Resurrection at Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday 5 – 8p.m.
