Betty J. (Bouldry) Gaucher, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Little River, SC March 26, 2012, at the age of 79. Betty was the daughter of the late Robert and Phyllis (Fairman) Bouldry and former wife of the late Richard Gaucher.
Betty was born and raised in East Bridgewater and graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1951 and attended Brockton Business School. She resided in Brockton for many years before moving to South Carolina. After retiring from Brockton Hospital, she worked part time at the Whitman School in Brockton. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society Champions and T.O.P.S. Club of Whitman. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
She was the loving mother of Paula Kelcourse of SC, Scott Kelcourse and his wife Debra of Mansfield, Jeffrey Kelcourse of Concord, James Kelcourse and his wife Marybeth of Whitman and Gary Kelcourse of SC. Sister of Beverly Salamone of Whitman, Nancy Benson of RI, Lois Maloney of Bourne and David Bouldry and his wife Sandra of NC. She also leaves several grandchildren; great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 1-3pm. Donations in Betty’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005, for online donations click here.
