WILKINSON, JOHN EARL JR., 44, of Louisville, passed away April 13, 2012.
He served with the Lake Dreamland Fire Department since 1985 and was the current Chief and had served since 1989 for the Air National Guard Fire Department.
He was a loving husband, father, and son and devoted his life to the community.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Earl Wilkinson, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jennifer Marie (Ferguson) Wilkinson; daughter, Shianne Nicole Wilkinson (Shawn); mother, Nancy B. (Shaw) Wilkinson; and numerous fire service family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, 2120 Lower Hunters Trace. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Sunday and 12-8 p.m. on Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Visitation will also be held at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
