Obituary

Evelyn R. (St. Amant) Langevin 100, of Blackstone , died Friday at home. She was the wife of the late Emile H. Langevin., and mother of the late Evelyn Clark. Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Alfred St. Amant. Mrs. Langevin was a textile worker for the former Maurel Worsted in Woonsocket for thirty five years before retiring in 1972.

Mrs. Langevin is survived by two sons; Alfred J.Langevin of Trenton NJ, and Emile O. Langevin of Blackstone,with whom she resided, and eleven grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was also the sister of the late Rhea Rouleau, and Violet Lacroix.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday April 17th at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa's Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: VNA of Greater Milford, 25 Birch St., Bldg B, Milford MA, 01757.
