KITCHEN, Eugene “Shorty”, 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 11, 2012, with his family by his side.
He was born in Livingston Co., KY to Claude & Pearl (McClure) Kitchen.
“Shorty” was an Insurance Agent with National Life & Accident Co. for 28 years and a faithful member of Grace Baptist Tabernacle.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and his Son-in-Law: Jimmy Chandler.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Louise (Bratcher) Kitchen; his children: Sharon Chandler and Mike Kitchen;
4 Grandchildren: Jeremy Chandler, Amanda Gatewood (Jonathan), Danielle & Dylan Kitchen; 3 Great Grandchildren: Payton, Layla, & Madelyn;
Also surviving are 3 Brothers, 3 Sisters, 2 Sisters-in-Law and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Sunday 12 – 8 PM.
