Cherry Valley - Carol Jansson Lemieux, 65, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012, after an illness. She leaves her husband, David J. Lemieux, to whom she was married for nearly 35 years. She also leaves three step-sons, David Jr., Steven, and Gary Lemieux; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Richard Serodio of Sandwich; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Terry Jansson of NJ and Brian and Valerie Jansson of Shrewsbury; a brother-in-law Raymond E. Lemieux of NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Carol was born in Worcester, daughter of Doris F. (Houle) and Henry Jansson. She was a Sutton High School graduate and attended Worcester State College. She received her A.S. from Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, CT as a Respiratory Therapist. She worked for ten years as a therapist at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Carol also worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Roland Caron for many years in Worcester. She enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod.
Private funeral services were held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, and burial was in Howard Cemetery, Sutton.
