LAWRENCE - Marguerite Celine Gagne, 73 of Lawrence, MA, returned to the Lord on April 10, 2012. Marguerite was the widow of the late Reverend Mr. Gerard Emile Gagne.
Born in Methuen on November 12, 1938, the daughter of Francois Custeau and Mary Ann Custeau (Couture).
Marguerite is survived by her son Mark and his wife Sheryl of New Boston, NH with their three children – Rebecca, Elizabeth & Alicia Gagne, her daughter Lisa Vitale and her husband Anthony of Lawrence, MA with their three children – Joseph, Nicholas & Christopher Vitale, and her son Paul and his wife Nicole with their three children – Brianna, Colin and Abigail Gagne.
Marguerite was predeceased by her brother Robert & her sister Cecile Custeau.
A member of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA, she was a member of the church choir, St. Rita’s Sodality and the Third Order of Mary.
Marguerite attended St. Ann’s grade school and high school. She was a loving wife and mother. Her hobbies included cooking, reading, sewing and needlepoint. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her kids, grandkids, family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00a.m. in Corpus Christi Parish/Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.
