Dr. Louis P. Nasif, DMD age 67 a resident of Fort Lee for over 40 years passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to the love of his life, Nora (nee Ahto). He was the devoted father of three adoring daughters, Nora Rahaim and her husband Joe, Cheryl Mignone and her husband Edward, and Lori Nasif and her husband Sebu Idiculla. A great joy in his life were his six grandchildren, Joseph, Kara, Edward ,James, Alicia and Samantha. He is also survived by his loving sister Janice Senackerib, brother Alfred Nasif, special family and professional friend, Karen Skowronski as well as many family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Eleanor (nee O’Malley) and Fred Nasif.
Louis’s two passions in life were his family and his patients. For the past 9 years he merged those passions as his daughter Dr. Lori Nasif, joined him in his dental practice.
He was the consummate gentleman and was known for his sense of humor and loving and caring nature. Louis took great pride in his education, particularly his high school years at St. Peter’s Preparatory School in Jersey City. He was a graduate of Muhlenberg College, University of Pennsylvania’s dental school and NYU’s School of Advanced Dentistry for dental implants. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd. Teaneck , NJ. Funeral Service Saturday 8:30 a.m. from Volk Leber Funeral Home and then to Madonna Church on the Hill (2070 Hoefley’s Lane, Fort Lee, NJ, adjacent to the cemetery) for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery in Englewood. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Louis P.
