AUBURN - Robert Gamelin, 80, of 246 Hampton Street, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester after a period of declining health.
He leaves his family at the Auburn residence.
He was born in North Dighton, the son of Armand and Louise (McCarron) Gamelin. He lived in Monson and then in Webster for 10 years before moving to Auburn. He attended the United Church of Christ, Federated, in Webster.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 10:00 AM in the United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church St., Webster. Entombment will be in the columbarium at Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. There are no calling hours. Donations in his name may be made to Life Skills South Central Residential, 44 Morris Street, Webster, Ma 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster.
