Edward P. “Eddie” Donovan passed away on April 9, 2012. He was 81 years old.
Eddie grew up in Chelsea and was a longtime resident of Malden. He worked for many years at K. J. Quinn Co. in Malden.
Eddie was the devoted husband of 48 years to Jane (Graffam) Donovan. He was the son of the late Edward F. and Victoria “Babci” (Ulbin) Donovan. Eddie was the beloved father of Nancy Novack and her husband John of West Peabody, Michael Donovan of Boston, Mary Dow and her husband William of Marblehead and Kathleen “Kate” Donovan of LaCosta, CA. He was the dear brother of Marge Baker and her husband Robert of Malden and the cherished grandfather of Alison and Rachel Novack and Jack and Grace Dow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, April 12th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wednesday, April 11th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
