Barbara E. Raulins, a lifelong resident of Medford and beloved daughter of the late Dr. William and Grace (McCullough) Raulins, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Revere, Massachusetts, on June 12, 1924. A devote catholic, Barbara was a very devoted friend to anyone in need. She was very independent, but always had a kind word for everyone she met.
She was the devoted sister of the late Bill Raulins, Grace Washofski, Irene McLucas and Gladys Kraynick. Barbara is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Monday, April 9, 2012, at 9: 30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 11:30 AM.
