Obituary

In Lubec, Maine, Aloric Jacob Reardon-Smith was born October 18, 1999 in Brockton, MA. He entered into rest on April 4, 2012 at the age of 12 from complications from type one diabetes. Aloric was the son of Monica Reardon and Ed Smith. Brother of Ayin and Asrai both of Lubec, Maine. He was the grandson of Cornelius Reardon of Quincy, Joan and Arthur Smith of Randolph and Catherine Bauer of Brockton and the late Brian Bauer. He was the great grandson of Erwin Bauer of Casegrande, AZ. Nephew of Stacey Smith of Randolph and the late Patrick Bauer. Great nephew of Mark Sinclair of Brockton. Aloric lived on a small farm in Lubec, Maine with many animals including his pet turkey Fugley. Aloric was in the 6th grade at Lubec Consolidated School. He was a Boy Scout and belonged to a robotics group at his school. Aloric loved camping and fishing. He excelled at video games. Alorec had aspirations of becoming an entomologist when he grew up. A remembrance service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday, April 13th at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Aloric’s memory may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Suite 745, Boston, Ma, 02215.
