Elizabeth (Ann) Griffey, 82, of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Spring Meadows Healthcare. She was born on February 16, 1930 in Montgomery County to the late Rufus Baggett and Nellie Yarbrough Baggett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William B. Griffey; two brothers, Jewell Baggett and James Baggett; and a sister, Beulah Kibble.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Jack Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 4-7 PM and Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 12 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Ann was a clerk for Sears. She was also a member of Dotsonville Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, William A. "Billy" (Julie) Griffey of Wylie, TX and Gregory Neal (Joann) Griffey of Arlington, TX; a daughter, Patricia A. (Ronnie) Seay of Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and her baby yorkie, Rufus.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
