Lorraine M. (Burgoyne) Thibault, 71, of Millis, died April 2 in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She was the wife of Roger C. Thibault, Sr.
Born in Bangor, Maine, August 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Albert LeRoy and Margaret (Bagley) Burgoyne, Mrs. Thibault was raised in Brownville Junction, Maine and had lived in Natick for 30 years and in Marlboro for several years prior to moving to Millis 5 years ago.
Mrs. Thibault had been an accounts payable clerk for Brandeis University for 20 years before retiring last year.
Lorraine's favorite pastime was being with her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Roger C. Thibault, Jr. and his wife Linda of Palm Coast, Florida and her daughter Bonita Sousa and her husband Richard of Medway.
She was the mother of the late Lawrence Thibault Sr. and the mother- in- law of Carol Thibault of Nashua, New Hampshire.
She is also survived by her sisters, Janet Bryer of Brooklyn, CT, Margaret Witham of Brownville Junction, Maine and Olivia Bell of Dexter, Maine.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Larry Jr., Matthew, Mark, Allison, Ricky and Matthew and 3 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 10 in the Franklin Federated Church at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. in Franklin.
