Donna Jean Ellsey, 60, of Sandown passed Saturday March 31, 2012. Donna was born June 24, 1951 in Lawrence, MA, and was the daughter of the late John and Rita (Shaw) McGregor. She was raised in the Lawrence area, and was a graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen. Donna had been a resident of Sandown for the past 34 years.
Donna was a mother and a great friend. She dedicated her life to spending time and caring for her friends and family. She will long be remembered as a loving, caring and beautiful person.
Members of the family include two sons, Richard P. Ellsey, Jr. of Sandown and James J. Ellsey and his wife Colleen of Kingston, NH, two daughters, Kerry A. Sapienza and her husband Louis of Sandown and Nicole Caswell of Danville, four grandchildren, Thomas, Gina, Ashley and Jared, three brothers, Ronald McGregor of Hampstead, Raymond McGregor of Derry, and John Michael McGregor (Recently Deceased); also her nephew, John Ellsey whom she loved like a son, as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Ellsey was predeceased by her beloved husband of 35 years, Richard P. Ellsey, Sr. in 2006.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April, 10, 2012 at 11:00am in St. Annes Church, 26 Emerson Road, Hampstead, NH. She will be placed to rest at the Center Cemetery in Sandown.
