Manchester– Blanche M. Uhry, 96, died April 2, 2012 after years of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on January 25, 1916 the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Remillard) Talbot.
She retired from Talbot Caterers. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Sacred Heart Parish.
She was predeceased by her husband Maurice A. Uhry and a daughter Pauline Uhry.
Family members include one son, Norman Uhry and his wife Cecile, one daughter Claire Lacerte and her husband Marcel, five grandsons, Richard Lacerte and his wife Deborah, Norman Lacerte, Brian Lacerte and his wife Suzanne, Jason Uhry and his wife Amanda, Matthew Uhry, nine great grandchildren, Douglas and his wife Valerie, Greg, Rebecca, Colin, Joshua, Owen, Brennan, Trevor,
two brothers, Armand Talbot and his wife Therese, Conrad Talbot and his wife Glenda, three sisters, Loretta Bouffard and her husband Rheal, Mrs. Rose Delisle, and Mrs. Rita Bagg.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday April 9, 2012 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church.,
Committal prayers and entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel.
