Obituary

Yves Arnel “Nenel” Joseph age 52, of Brockton, died unexpectedly Thursday March 29, 2012 at Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital after he stricken suddenly ill at his home. He was the devoted husband of Alberthe Mardy. Nenel was born, raised and educated in Port-au-Prince, Haiti a son of Mariana Guerrier of Brockton and the late Abel Joseph. Nenel moved from Haiti to the Boston area in 1987 and has lived in Brockton since 2000.

Nenel received his associate degree from ITT Tech and spent his career in the field of telecommunications and network support. When living in Haiti he worked for TELECO (telephone company) and at the time of his death had been a technician with Network Engines, Inc. in Canton for six years. Prior to that, he had been a technician with LTX and Wonderbread. In his free time Nenel enjoyed music, fishing and soccer and had played on the TELECO team in Haiti. Most importantly, Nenel was proud of his wife, children, mother and family.

He leaves his cherished children Alexandra Joseph and Patrick Arnel Joseph both of Brockton his brothers and sisters Yveline Joseph and her husband Dominique Boursiquot of Stoughton, Guerly Joseph of Dorchester, Darlene and her husband Darryl Richardson of Somerville and Nandy Joseph the youngest sister of Queens, New York. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Visiting hours will be held in the Shaw’s Center, 1 Feinberg Way, Brockton, Mass. 02301 for directions click here on Friday April 6, 2012 from 6-9 pm. His funeral service will be celebrated also at the Shaw’s Center on Saturday at 8:00 AM followed by burial in Melrose Cemetery, in Brockton, Mass 02301.
