Obituary

Our beloved mother, Teresita Marie (Zuroske) Williams, left the struggles of her earthly life for a more glorious one in heaven on Sunday, March 25. Teresita had a big heart and was a great encourager to her family and will be greatly missed. She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1951 they moved to Washington State where she and Bill enjoyed farm life, having built their farm north of Prosser on the Roza in the early 50’s, until Bill’s death in 1998. Teresita then lived in Benton City for 13 years before moving to Kennewick where she resided for 1 ½ years. Gardening, bird watching, and travelling were her favorite pastimes, and she took great pride and joy in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Teresita was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Williams; two precious infant daughters; and her parents Alexander and Helen Zuroske. She is survived by her children, Faith Anne Nale (Thomas Clery) of Corona, California, William D. Williams, Jr. (Pamela) of Ontario, Oregon, Alexander T. Williams of Othello, Paul A. Williams (Connie) of Benton City, Mary Ellen Warren (Robert) of Moses Lake and Thaddeus J. Williams (Kristeen) of Kennewick; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser with a Rosary on Monday at 5:00 PM at Prosser Funeral Home.
