Mrs. Marian M. Grady
Augusta, GA – Marian Mulherin Grady entered into rest on Monday, April 2, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of Marian H. and Louis Mulherin, Sr., Marian was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy and the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York. In 1960, Marian married Donald D. Grady. They were active parishioners at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church and over the years, strong supporters of the local Catholic schools: Immaculate Conception, St. Mary on the Hill, and Aquinas High School.
Marian is preceded in death by Don, her husband of 50 years, and her brother Louis Mulherin, Jr. She is survived by four children: Sean (Mary), Michael (Rebeccah), Blase (Marlisa) of Alpharetta, GA, and Maureen (Frank), and ten grandchildren: Michaelann (Scott), Molly, Jane, Sean, Mary Beth, Margaret, Madison, Catherine, Ryan, and Bailey. Marian is also survived by many dear friends, including her friend of 80 years, Mrs. Jane Markwalter Eubanks.
A funeral Mass will be con-celebrated by Rev. John Lyons and Rev. Gerald Ragan at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 4th at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A vigil service will be held Tuesday at 6 P.M. at the church, and the family will receive friends following the service.
