Doris E. Nickerson, formerly of Londonderry, NH died Sunday April 1, 2012 at the Villa Crest Nursing Home, Manchester, NH. Mrs. Nickerson was born on June 25th in Derry, NH the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sybil (Johnson) Dick. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry. Mrs. Nickerson worked for H.E. Harris in Derry for many years. She also worked for HADCO in Derry until she retired at the age 70. Doris loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time knitting and quilting.
She is survived by her son, Larry C. Nickerson and his wife Cindy (Frenette) of Londonderry, two grandchildren, Dianna Langlois and her husband Pete of Derry, and Jeffrey Nickerson of Londonderry, two great-grandchildren, Eric Langlois and Julia Langlois both of Derry, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton C. Nickerson in 1980, as well as her four brothers, Albert, Alfred, Leon, and Bernard Dick.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services were held on Thursday April 5, 2012 at 10:00am in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry Road, E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
