THOMAS, NORMA JEAN (WINGFELD), 87, of Louisville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 29, 2012, with her family by her side.
Norma was a loving wife, mother and grandma who was devoted to her family and loved to cook, shop and decorate. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Thomas III and her brothers, Charles Wingfield and Robert Wingfeld.
Norma is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Thomas, Jr.; children, Edward Holsclaw (Bobbie), Stephen Thomas (Donna) and Michele Griffin (Kenny); daughter-in-law, Lynne Thomas; grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Brent and Blake Holsclaw, Tiffany Murphy, Tina McCoomer, Tara Osbourne, Stephanie Joyce, Tieg and Jace Gonzalez, and Ashley, Kyle and Paige Griffin; 16 great grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Benn, Inez Brooks and Lois Kapfhammer;
Her Funeral Mass will be 10am Monday at Ascension Catholic Church, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Sunday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road.
