David R. Dodd, 69, of Londonderry, NH, died Wednesday March 28, 2012 in Bedford Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, NH. He was born in Malone, NY on September 2, 1942, a son of the late Lawrence and Jean (Finlayson) Dodd. He had been a resident of Londonderry since 1974, formerly living in Connecticut and Phoenix, AZ. David was very laid back, did not want to be the center of attention, had a dry sense of humor and was known for one line jokes. He was also very generous by nature. David loved all of his nieces and nephews immensely and especially like to tease them. He enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, bowling, traveling and going to casinos and on cruises.
He is survived by his wife Linda M. (Walker) Dodd of Londonderry, many nieces and nephews as well as his four legged children - his Bassett Hounds
Following cremation, a calling hour was held on Monday, April 2nd from 1 - 2pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
