FALL RIVER… Delores A. (Fillion) Levesque, 70, of Fall River passed away March 28, 2012 following a brief illness.
She was the widow of the Ronald R. Levesque, Sr. and the companion of George Levesque.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Olivia (Ferreira) Fillion and had lived in this city for most of her life.
Mrs. Levesque worked as a seamstress at various mills throughout the city and enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, music and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her companion, 5 daughters: Debra Prado of Taunton, Susan Rapoza of Assonet, Judith Vezina of Dartmouth, Cheryl LaMothe and Heidi Resendes, both of Fall River, 2 sons: Kenneth J. Levesque of Fall River, Kevin J. Levesque of Riverside, RI, 1 sister: Carol LaFrance of Fall River, 2 brothers: Albert Fillion of Florida, James K. Fillion of Westport, 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Ronald R. Levesque, Jr.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 at 7:30 PM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Calling hours will be Monday 4 – 7:30 PM. At the request of the family, interment will be private.
