George S. Marks Sr. died on Friday April 9 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 73 years old. Born in Hartford Ct., Mr. Marks was a longtime Needham resident. He was a U.S. Navy, Korean War veteran. Mr. Marks was a carpenter and handyman in the Needham area. He was a member of the American Legion Post #14 in Needham. The beloved husband of the late Marilyn Joan (Fuller). He leaves his children George S. Jr. of Ashland, Gail Marks Garrity of Willimantic Ct., Mary Marks of Needham, Juiley Ann Marks of Everett and Kristen Cunha of Springfield. He was the brother of Joanne Donald of Needham and Diane Huff of Holliston. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday April 19 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend.
