Frank P. Roberts, 93, formerly of Lawrence, MA and Andover, MA died at Bristol Court Assisted Living in St. Petersburg FL on March 27, 2012.
He was born on January 16, 1919 in Lawrence, MA, to John E. and Helen (Chaplain) Roberts. He was educated in Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked as a liquor salesman for many years until his retirement. Bored with retirement, he then became a bank messenger for Lawrence Savings Bank for many years. He was a life member of the Lawrence Lodge of Elks BPOE #65.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Clare M. (Carraher) Roberts. He leaves sons Paul W. Roberts, husband of David A. Young of St. Petersburg, FL, New York, NY and Provincetown, MA and Gary J. Roberts of St. Petersburg, FL. as well several nieces and nephews.
