Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Jane M. Leverich, 48, died early Thursday morning, March 27, 2012 in the Golden Living Center, with her family by her side. She was the longtime companion of the late James Silva, who died last October.
Born in Gloucester on August 29, 1963, she was the daughter of Raymond T. Leverich, Sr. and the late Margaret A. (White) Leverich. She had attended Gloucester public schools.
Prior to moving to Florida eleven years ago, Jane had worked along the Gloucester waterfront for many years. She enjoyed her nightly walks with Jim and their dog, Bubbles. While visiting from Florida, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo, keno, and going to Lucky 7. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Salah, fiancée of Paul Athanas and Emily Silva; her granddaughter, Alexis Athanas; a brother, Raymond Leverich, companion of Theresa Mitchell; two sisters, Dianne Leverich and Margaret Leverich; nieces and nephews, Peter Horne, Melissa Silva, Kevin Leverich, Michael Leverich, and Ashley DeCosimo and many dear friends, including Scott DeCosimo. She is also survived by Emily’s sisters, Aimee LaFlam and Jaimee Silva.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning in the Holy Family Parish, St. Ann Church at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
