Obituary

Theresa B. LaRoche, 79, of Manchester, died March 27, 2012 following a brief illness at the Elliot Hospital.

She was born on October 7, 1932 in Manchester, to Donat and Beatrice (Demers) Marcoux and was a life long resident.

She graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls in 1951 and worked many years at New England Telephone prior to dedicating her life to her family.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish and later worked as an administrative assistant for the parish. She started and participated in the first folk Masses at St. Anthony Parish as well as establishing the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary Post No.1842. Theresa and was the first president and treasurer of the C.W.V. Auxiliary State Department. She taught C.C.D., coached Junior Deb Softball teams, Boys and Girls Soccer and was a Girls Volleyball Supporter.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing on her computer and watching New England sports.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Paul J. LaRoche.

Family members include two sons, Michael LaRoche and his wife Diane of Sterling, MA, Mark LaRoche of Hampton Falls, NH; two daughters, Michelle Lando and her husband Peter of Carlisle, MA; and Marie LaRoche and her partner Jennifer Levie of Goffstown; nine grandchildren, Alexa, Katie, Stephanie, Rebecca, Hannah, Jessica, Sophia, Michael, Christopher; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, March 30, 2012 in St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St, Manchester, NH 03104.
