Grace L. “Gracie” Richards, 84, of Derry, NH died Tuesday March 27, 2012 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry following an extended illness. She was born on November 16, 1927 in Providence, RI, a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Hasson) Galligan. She was lifetime member of the Halcyon Club in Derry, and a member of the VFW Post #1617 Ladies Auxiliary in Derry. She loved dancing and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Robert Richards and Jon Patrick Richards, as well as one daughter Denise A. Kowalczyk; five grandchildren, Christopher, Colleen, and Chad Kowalczyk, Craig Watt, and Glen Richards, Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Clover and Finnegan Kowalczyk. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Richards.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, private memorial services will be held by the family at a later time.
