Joyce Gay, age , of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at home following an extended illness. Mrs. Gay was born on July 5, 1957, in Douglas, GA to the late Edward and Floyce Day.
Survivors include: her husband, Byron Gay, of Broxton, GA.; two sons, Justin (April) Gay, of Broxton, GA and Brandon (Tiffany) Gay, of Buffalo, KY; two daughters, Kristi Gay and Leigha Gay, of Broxton, GA; six grandchildren, Jacey Gay, Wyatt Gay, Mckenzie Gay, Kyleigh Gay, Hollyn Gay, Hayden Gay, six brothers, Charles (Judy) Day, of Apopka, FL, Johnny (Marla) Day, of Ambrose, GA, Jerome (Jan) Day, of Broxton, GA, Stanford (Billy Jean) Day, of Broxton, GA, Jimmy (Brenda) Day, of Broxton, GA and Ronnie (Selena) Day, of Broxton, two sisters, Glenda (James) Johnson, of Hazlehurst, GA and Sandra Spivey, of Broxton, GA, host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded, in death by a brother Wayne Day.
Visitation will be Wed., March 28, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at New Corinth Calvary Holiness Church with Rev. Joey Dean, Rev. Archie Morgan, and Rev. Hershell Smith officiating. Interment followed at New Corinth Calvary Holiness Church Cemetery.
