Obituary

MIDDLEBORO - Wayne E. Parris, 46, of Middleboro, formerly of Bridgewater, died Saturday, April 10, at Morton Hospital in Taunton after suffering a heart attack.

Born in Brockton, he was the son of Jean S. (Bois) Andrade of Bridgewater and the late Martin E. Parris.

Raised and educated in Bridgewater, he was a graduate of Bristol-Plymouth High School, Class of 1977.

Mr. Parris was the owner of Wayne's Welding in Middleboro, which he ran for 17 years.

He enjoyed collecting antiques and was an avid outdoors man.

Mr. Parris also enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Terri Parris of Raynham; three brothers, Martin Parris Jr. of Bridgewater, Mark Anderson of Raynham and Glenn Anderson of Bridgewater and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and godchildren.

His funeral service will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
