Flor De Maria Rodriguez Galindo, age 44 of Prosser, entered into rest on March 22, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born on April 22, 1967 to Jose Eduardo Rodriguez and Consuelo Galindo in Retalhuleu, Guatemala, where she was raised and educated. After graduating from high school, she attended college and received a degree in accounting. She moved to Prosser in 1987 and worked in agriculture. She was employed by Watts Brother’s Dairy for the last two years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Mexico.
Flor is survived by two sons, Luis Quiroa Rodriguez of Yakima and Jose Pablo Quiroa Rodriguez of Prosser; her mother, Consuelo Galindo; her brother, Jose Eduardo, her sisters, Zulma and Esther Rodriguez Galindo all of Guatemala; her granddaughter, Noelani Flores of Yakima; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29th at 4:00 p.m. at Prosser Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Guatemala.
