NOLAN, Ruth F. (Ford), of Winthrop, March 23, 2012, at the age of 95. Born in East Boston, she was a long time resident of Winthrop. Beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Nolan II. Devoted mother of Joe Nolan and his wife Maggie of Charlestown, Ruth Bing and her husband Ed of Carlisle, and Bob Nolan and his wife Dianne of Winthrop. Dear sister of the late Gertrude, Arthur, Charles, and Raymond Ford. Also lovingly survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Tues, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Ruth was a graduate of Girls Latin and Regis College-Class of 1939. She was a member of the Winthrop Catholic Woman’s Club and a long time communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
