Myra Edna Haig
Augusta, GA – Ms. Myra Edna Haig, 82, entered into rest Thursday, March 22, 2012 at University Hospital.
Ms. Haig had lived in the Augusta area since 1952. She worked as the Director of Religious Studies at First Baptist Church in Augusta, GA where she was also a member.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Haig and Elizabeth Haig and sister, Eleanor Haig. She is survived by her only niece Cynthia Fairchild who lives in California.
A word of thanks is expressed to the wonderful, caring doctors and nursing staff at University Hospital 9th floor Cardiology and the 7th floor Palliative Care Center.
A memorial service will be will be held at a future date.
