Ayre, Gary L. of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, March 16, 2012 at the age of 50. Beloved husband of Donna M. (Bennett) Ayre. Loving father of Amanda Ayre of Lowell and Scott Ayre of Boston. Dear brother of Robert Ayre of Texas, Ronald Ayre of Marshfield and Linda Carreiro of Wareham. Son of the late Bernard and Barbara (Kinne) Ayre. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gary was a graduate of Marshfield High School class of 1979. Gary had the love of the ocean. He looked forward to working on the boat and fishing with his good friend Vinny Labo. Gary took so much pride in caring for his yard and home. He loved classic cars and working on his 1971 Monte Carlo.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. rte. 139, Marshfield on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m.
