NIEMEIER, MILTON P., 91, passed away March 18, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was a graduate of Manual High School, attended Speed School, served in the Navy during World War II and was retired from Tube Turns as a metallurgist after 42 years. He was a long time member of Parkview Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Martha.
He is survived by three children, Michael Niemeier (Nancy), Robert Niemeier (Sharon), and Charlotte Lloyd (Ted Johnson); seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway on Wednesday from 1-8 p.m.
