Michael Zuczek, 66, of Olyphant, died Monday at Lackawanna Health and Rehab Center after a lengthy illness with diabetes, he was blind for seven years. He and his wife, the former Mary Wynne, would have been married 38 years on May 18.
Born in Olyphant, son of the late Michael and Veronica Harhut Zuczek, he was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant. He was also a former member of St. Michael the Archangel Church. He was active in its Holy Name Society and active in church activities.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann, at home; a brother, Stanley, Dickson City; two sisters, Mary Boyer and Jenny Zuczek, New Jersey; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Monica.
Funeral services will be Thursday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, Blakely.
