Vowels, Mildred Marie (Lindauer), 89, of Louisville passed away Monday March 19, 2012 at the Franciscan Health Care Center.
Mildred was a native of Fulda, IN., a graduate of Ursuline Academy 1941, and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church St Helen Campus.
Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Marion Vowels; parents, Karl F. and Johanna (Boehm) Lindauer; brothers, Ralph, Victor, and LeRoy Lindauer.
Survivors include her three children, Darlene Stoddard (G.L.), Rick Vowels (Judy) and Kenny Vowels (Annie); 2 grandchildren, Cindi Bearden and Tammi Stoddard; 3 great- grandchildren, Melinda Stoddard Durham, Cassadi Bearden and Alexa Bearden; and a great great grandchild, Mekenzi Stoddard Durham.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Thursday at Mary Queen of Peace Church 4005 Dixie Hwy with burial in St. Michaels Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 pm at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
