Mr David E. Westcott, of Taunton, died Sunday, March 18 in Longmeadow of Taunton following a period of failing health. He was born 74 years ago in Bridgeton, N.J., the son of the late Bruce and Sarah (Riley) Buterbaugh-Westcott. He was educated in New Jersey and had been a Taunton resident for the past 26 years. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a laboratory technician for Polaroid Corp. for 37 years. He was a member of the American Poolplayers Association. He enjoyed playing pool, automobiles, and spending time with his family.
He leaves: 3 sons: David D. Westcott of Plymouth, William D. Westcott of Taunton, and Paul A. Westcott of Raynham; 1 daughter: Lucie Westcott Lapierre of Bourne; 1 brother: Patrick Riley of Vineland, N.J.; 10 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
