Jones, Howard Lee, 77, of Louisville passed away March 17, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital. He was a Baptist by faith and retired from the Naval Ordinance after 36 years as a supervisor. He was a Navy Reserves veteran and a member of NARFE, AARP, and the Naval Ordinance Retirees Association.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Jean (Duvall) Jones; children, Renee Jones, K.C. Jones (Kimmie Ann), Jeffrey K. Jones (Kim), and Judy M. Jones; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; brothers, J.C. Jones (Joyce) and John M. Jones; niece, Robin Ritter; two great nieces; and many other beloved family.
Funeral service will be 1PM Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Tuesday 12-8 at the funeral home.
