Margaret E. Inman-Patunoff, 90

Margaret E. (Clark) Inman-Patunoff, 90, of Norton, formerly of Rochester, NH, Carver and Mansfield, passed away on Friday March 16, 2012 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Patunoff and the late Raymond E. Inman.
Born in Boston, MA on June 21, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Henry W. and Annie B. (Peterson) Clark.
She grew up and was educated in Mansfield, and was a 1939 graduate of Mansfield High School. She furthered her studies and was a 1943 graduate of the Newton-Wellesley School of Nursing.
During WWII, Margaret faithfully served her country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Nurses Corp. She was honorably discharged from active duty on January 18, 1946.
A retired Registered Nurse, Margaret had been employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for 15 years prior to retiring in 1981. She had formerly worked at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, also in Attleboro.
A resident of Norton for the past 2 years, she had formerly resided in Rochester, NH for 5 years, in Carver for over 25 years and in Mansfield for 58 years.
Active in veteran’s affairs, she was a member of the Lieutenant Harold A. Healy American Legion Post 222 in Norton, the DAV Chapter 50 in Rockland, and the Paralyzed Veterans of New England. She was also a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Mansfield.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children; Lawrence F. Inman of New Hampshire, Gerald W. Inman of Woonsocket, RI, Cora A. Rose of Taunton and William H. Inman of New Hampshire. The sister of the late Richard Clark, Paul Clark and Henry Clark, Mrs. Patunoff is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services, with military honors, will be held at the convenience of her family at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield. Visiting hours have been omitted.
