Obituary

Thomas W. Amos, 62, of Revere, died March 16 with loved ones by his side after a long illness. Tom was born September 11, 1949, in East Boston, to Warren and Eleanor (Calvano) Amos.
A graduate of Revere High School, Tom was a retired HVAC technician for the Department of Public Health’s State Laboratory. Tom was a more than 20 year volunteer for the St. Mary’s Baseball and Softball league, where he coached the Cubs, the Reds, and the Marlins. The greatest joy Tom had in life was being a devoted husband, loving father, and a dedicated coach, and as such, he was loved and will be missed by so many.
Tom is survived by his wife Nancy (Moscato), his son Thomas, his daughter, Kristen, sister Annette LaVerde, aunt Jeanne (Calvano) Stamatopolous and many other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Eleanor (Calvano) and Warren Amos.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 20th at 9:00 am. Followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
